Taos Pueblo is of my favorite places. I’ve probably spent time in 35 or 36 states if you include DC. New Mexico is the only one that feels like it’s made of pure magic.

If the movie Pacific Rim was real Mark Kelly and his brother would be the worlds most successful and worshipped Jaeger pilots…before they became co-presidents.
Yeah Hegseth go after these guys. Can’t wait to see how this works out for ya.

I don't know who needs to hear this but you don't need to be productive all the time. You're allowed to have a slow life and you're still worthy of love when you don't have something to offer. You deserve love just by being alive. This includes love to yourself.

Outstanding movie.

Wind River rocks. One of the most intense gunfights I’ve seen in a movie.
I love Wind River. It's not well enough known or appreciated imo

Self love includes self discipline. Holding yourself to account. Taking care of yourself.

I hope you’re finding gentle ways to do so, in these weird times.

This one is for the history books. Top tier deaf fukwitism. No joke probably the best I’ve ever seen.

The way the survivor count ticks down(sometimes very significantly) with every episode gave it a brilliant ongoing sense of urgency and stake.
Been watching through Battlestar Galactica (the 2004 series) and finished it last night, and damn what a show. Nothing like what I expected it to be yet so good??

Friend of mine who is a mental health professional said to me today, in a convo where I was talking about last week’s Epstein docs and how gross I felt reading about his power-mongering and casual jokes about girls with his cohorts, that “wealth is poison.”

Truer words have never been spoken.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but it was probably *somehow* as disgusting a thing as I’ve heard him say. It was actually scary. He would have obviously physically harmed that reporter if no one else was there.
Saying "Quiet piggy" to a female journalist on the eve of the Epstein files vote is a red lights flashing, sirens-blaring perp self-own.

And when I say always, I vividly remember back in 96 watching Bottle Rocket 11 times in a row before returning the rented vhs. I felt like a reinvention of the art form that was funny, sweet, dark, and thought provoking while being totally warm and accessible. And he’s never failed to replicate.
I’ve always revered Wes Anderson as a unique and singular master of cinematic art. But man Grand Budapest Hotel is on a whole other level. Reviewing after many years and every scene from go is entirely filled with love, relatedness, frailty and humor in the most profound yet base human form.
