Yes, that's awesome! It’s happened a few times in fall, no matter when the poems were accepted or the publication schedule & after slower preceding months. I guess this year too. I suddenly have about 10 pieces coming out after a smattering throughout the year. Fall magic✨🍂

I have not experienced anything that direct—given so many students who have witnessed genocide, gender-based violence, etc. but it worries me that stereotypes permeate through culture nonetheless.

I just taught it yesterday (and every year, as well as in June). It’s really hard with newcomers who are usually refugees, but it sets a precedent that we cannot look away and reminds us that all of us benefit from colonialism.
