Epstein survivor: Representative Grijalva could be sworn in during a pro forma session, and that hasn't happened. It is within their power to do that during the shutdown. This is not a political issue. We're talking about the crime of sex trafficking.

Today is the first day of ACA Open Enrollment.

Around 22 million people will see higher health care costs when they enroll due to Trump and Republicans refusing to extend enhanced ACA credits.

Sen. Kelly: Let me tell you a story about a guy named Brent from Mesa. He gets his health care from the ACA. He pays $339 a month. That's going to go up by $900 to over $1,100 a month. He can't afford it. This guy has an autoimmune disease. This isn't fair to him

Sen. Gallego: You're going to have 24 million Americans who are going to have their increase their premiums double. 4 million Americans are going to lose their coverage. A family of four is going to end up paying $4,000 more for their insurance. That's all being done by people like Mike Johnson.

It’s officially been one month since the GOP shut the government down.

The House calendar has been completely blank and Republicans have been on vacation throughout the shutdown because of Mike Johnson.

24 million Americans who get their health care through the Affordable Care Act are about to see their health care costs skyrocket next year.

Instead of working with Democrats to keep costs low, Republicans have shut the government down and refuse to show up for work.

More lies from J.D. Vance. Here are the facts:

Health insurance premiums are skyrocketing BECAUSE Republicans refuse to act.

Republicans aren't worried about YOUR rising health care costs. They had the chance to extend the ACA tax credits this summer and voted it down THREE times.
JD Vance lies shamelessly: "We're inheriting a healthcare system that has suffered some real problems under the Biden administration. Because of that, you're seeing health insurance premiums skyrocket."

Food bank employee: I can't remember a time when our shelves have been so empty. Over the last nine months, we've been seeing prices rise pretty high. Families are already struggling. So when you take that additional money away, food is going to become scarce.

Trump is putting Argentina First and Rural America last.

First, he sold out U.S. soybean farmers.

Now, he abandons our ranchers.

All while working to give $40B to Argentina.

Inflation is the highest it's been since Trump took office.

Trump’s economy is FAILING. Grocery prices, rent, and health care costs are skyrocketing.

And Republicans would still rather keep our government shut down than lower health care costs.

Fox: We expected to see job creation of 75,000 last month. Instead, just 22,000 jobs were added. The unemployment rate ticked up to 4.3%. That is a 4 year high. Investors dug a bit deeper into the numbers and saw things they clearly did not like. The S&P down 31 points, NASDAQ down 52.
