Fair. I'd be fine with a tie after 12 or something like that.

But I've attended 18 innings in April and 16 innings in July (between two teams a combined 18 games under .500)...and there's no need for either of those to occur, IMO.

I'm curious how much of the anti-Manfred Man discourse is driven by people thinking that he came up with this idea on his own.

Goldy seems like he'd be a tough roster fit alongside Devers and, presumably, Eldridge.

He'd cost more, but Bo Bichette had a 143 wRC+ v LHP (134 career). Gleyber Torres, also not cheap, was 150 wRC+ (137).

Or let the bros cook on a Jo Adell trade? 154 wRC+ last year v LHP tho only 105 career.
