* in general, representatives get few calls
* 20-30 calls could get them to do something

Don't necessarily need a lot of people. Just need enough people willing to do the work.
I recently reposted a former congressional staffer who said that when an issue got 20-30 calls it would get representatives freaked out and ready to do something. It takes less than you’d think, because so few people actually take that kind of action

YOUR PHONE CALLS TO THE SENATE ARE WORKING. KEEP CALLING.

Three Democrats who previously broke with the party and voted with the GOP are now saying they will not vote for the bill. That’s enough for the bill to be unpassable right now.
DHS funding bill faces new Senate hurdles after another person killed in Minneapolis
Some Democrats who voted for recent funding bills said they'll vote against any DHS bill without restrictions on enforcement operations. The deadline to avert a shutdown is Friday.

I’m seeing posts from people (outside of MN) about how US citizens should carry their passports.

And let me say that *inside* MN, we are calmly responding to requests with: “No, I don’t have to show you any documentation.”

Because that’s how you protect everyone, regardless of immigration status.

Stars & Stripes is a great paper.
📌URGENT: Trump's regime is trying to turn Stars & Stripes into state-run media.
I was the ME of S&S.

It's MANDATED BY CONGRESS to be an editorially independent paper that reports ON the troops FOR the troops.

So I type this with precision: The draft-dodging, America-attacking slob can KISS MY ASS.
Pentagon says it will ‘refocus’ Stars and Stripes content
The Pentagon suggested it would take over editorial decision making for Stars and Stripes, which has long retained independence under a congressional mandate.

After the horrific killing of Renee Good by an ICE agent in Minneapolis, many of us want accountability. JD Vance and others claim that ICE officers are immune from prosecution. This is false. But it’s complicated and there are some limits. I explain. youtube.com/shorts/2yBW8...

At a time when federal disaster support is questionable, it's good to invest more effort into personal safety

- 60% of people have not practiced/prepared for an emergency
- 55% think they can rely on the government to save them

Part of being able to take care of others is taking care of yourself.

There is no legal justification, whatsoever, to use military force against a NATO ally like Greenland.

If any military member participates in this without congressional authorization, they are following illegal orders.
