#painting "Dalkey" came out of monthly visits deep into the south coast of Dublin Bay. When it began I had knees so cycled there & back from west Dublin. Probably would have finished sooner than the 11 yrs later if I hadn't kept visiting, eventually by bus & train #art #ArtAdventCalendar #SpeirGhorm

#painting "The Gate Theatre, Dublin" I'm never entirely sure where the Rotunda, the Ambassador and the Gate all meet, but I love this view on Cavendish Row. Because of the shapes. Arches, curves, columns, a portico, a fountain, and a big roundy bit, as well as a modern squarish add-on. #SpeirGhorm
