When I say "things will get worse," it's not because I'm a doomer (translate as "how Liberals say 'You're too emotional!'" without having to say it), but because that is what the trajectory of the past 20 years of history has shown us.

The new "Centrist" Dutch minority government thinks that budgets can be balanced by cutting healthcare and social security. I can feel the "Centrism" washing over me already.
