So I just learned that sunflowers were used as a symbol of resistance when the US occupied the Philippines and banned the display of the Philippine Flag, basically swapping the sun with the sunflower as an act of defiance.

Man, I think the only thing that bummed me out from my Vietnam trip last week was the stupid amount of AI art plastered all around their products. Hell, even in Ba Na Hills, one of the most breath taking sculptures and buildings I've ever seen, had AI posters and merch of their stuff. 🙄
