I bought myself a copy of Super Mario All-stars + SMW. I did not need this because I already have both the stand alone all-stars and SMW. But I wanted it anyway.

Very nice setup, I love that Sigil Beast Box. Sigil was such a good WAD.

I also had a 486DX2-66 as a kid and still have the same PC setup here along with the 386.

The real reason I love SMW more is the engine and because of that the ROMhacks. SMW controls so perfectly and you can make endless fun custom games out of it. I have played like 20 to 25 hacks and like with Doom there's jendless content for this game out there.

I played Mario 3 once on the original NES and this game doesn't let you save and so I was up at like 5 am trying to beat it and my NES started to glitch out in World 8. I desperately wanted to beat the game before it crashed.

Windows 10 support ending was one of the main reasons I build my new PC. I love my old PC but don't want to upgrade the OS so I'm leaving it the way it is with Windows 10 and pulling it offline forever. It has tons of games with their online DRM cracked and it will join the retro computers I have.

It's very weird looking, just separate sections stacked ontop of each other but separated rather than how a normal vertical level would be. I guess this makes the game lag its ass off.

This is another actual level that exists in YUMP. I have no idea what is making the game lag this bad but it's 100% intentional. There's probably like 18 footballs at the top of the screen or something, I really want to open this in Lunar Magic and take a closer look.

This level was insanely miserable. It's a massive pit full of hidden blocks and you need to just trial and error yourself up to the orb by jumping everywhere.

Another recent discovery that I played all the way through on my 386 is Loom. This is one of the most beautiful games I've played. The AdLib music and the EGA art is just perfect.

Technically you can run the game on a 486 in turbo mode and on a Pentium III with disabled cache, cause those can match the 386. But i'm just talking base speeds, nothing slower or faster than a 386 will work.
