For years I have stood up for different causes. In this time of threats to our rights on a national level, I will continue to fight as a City Council member. Please join me this afternoon at 1pm at the State House for No Kings, a demonstration of unity, hope, and resilience.
Ty to the Graduate Labor Org, Brown Rise Up, Stand Up Brown and other orgs for raising our collective voice in celebration for Brown University's rejection of Trump's campus compact. Our fight continues, and we must stand strong and united for our rights here in Providence and beyond.
I will advocate for fiscal transparency and financial stability as we face an underfunded pension system, aging infrastructure, and rising cost of living. I’ve wrote a column for East Side Monthly for six years, and I will keep Ward 2 resident informed about issues our city is facing.
We are deeply honored to have the support of Councilor Helen Anthony and Senator Sam Zurier – two people who have served our community with integrity and stood for transparency. See more neighbors who endorse Jill Davidson for city council here: www.jilldavidsonri.com/wedo
Providence’s biggest problems cut across our 15 wards. My collaborative leadership runs from the East Side to Olneyville because I know we win together or lose separately. No single leader can fix things, but if we come together we can get things done. Learn more about me at jilldavidsonri.com
At the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council I fight for clean water, green spaces, and climate resilience for our neighborhoods. I have worked with city agencies to address sustainability. Climate resilience is not just a campaign promise, it’s my job. Learn more about me at jilldavidsonri.com
Thank you to Marti Mann and Don Baier for hosting an incredible house party last night! I love any opportunity to speak with my neighbors. Please join me for my next house party at 479 Lloyd Ave at 7pm this Thursday 10/16
Strong schools build opportunity, and I’ve spent much of my career advocating for great schools nationally and locally. My three sons attended Providence Public Schools, and I helped organize parents at every school they attended. Learn more about me at jilldavidsonri.com

Nine years after it was first proposed, Providence was still trying to work out building a 4 line subway. Would have gone to the Red Bridge, North Burial Ground, Olneyville, and Trinity Square.

Imagine the city we would have now if there'd been a will to get it done 103 years ago.
