I suppose the nice thing about Philip Rivers being 44 is that his throwing motion finally looks completely natural coming from an old man

Bubbles only work on an Opposite Day basis
Oh, just one of the most famous VCs investing billions into AI saying it *can't* be a bubble because people are asking if it's a bubble.

"The fact that it's a question means we're not in a bubble... in order to get to a bubble everyone has to believe it's not a bubble."

Inspiring message sir
Q: At the end of this year, those extended Obamacare subsidies expire. What's your message to those 24m Americans who will see their premiums go up?

TRUMP: Don't make it sound so bad. Obviously you're a sycophant for Democrats. You're obviously a provider of bad news for Republicans.

Does Mark Cuban think his healthcare is the same as mine? Is this a thing he thinks
December 11, 2025 at 10:32 PM
you're right imagine how terrible it would be to exist in a country where the rich have better access to healthcare
Are you ok with rich people having access to the most expensive doctors and hospitals and you don't because the gov won't pay for it or they opted out of the Universal care program ?

Do you think it's right for doctors and nurses to only work for what they think is a living wage ?

It was very important to read pitchfork back in the day and not have any clue what the fuck they were talking about

Perusing the Pitchfork year-end lists and I'm glad the fears about their poptimism direction have proven to be unfounded because these lists are incomprehensible—that's the old Pitchfork magic

I think they'd likely have the same record no matter, but OKC does seem allowed to defend uh differently than other teams

It's me, I'm the guy who's gambling addiction is so potent I'm convinced that Pete Carroll kicking a pointless field goal is out of character
Everything else aside, the idea that this is a model for many men of *masculinity* is so wild. This? This is "manly"? This is how people think it's cool to act?

If you're at an airport and at any point are compelled to do a pull-up, then you simply do not exist in god's light
Duffy: "My daughter pointed out a video from Dr. Paul Saladino where he was complaining that there are no pull up bars in airports, which prompted me to call Sec. Kennedy to give me Paul's number to start the conversation."

A prior I have trouble updating is it still feels like it should be impossible to have a successful political career when you're charisma-less psychopath. But nope. Thousands of people keep saying "this voice and this face? I'd like to keep it in front of me more please"
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), to reporters, after viewing video footage of the U.S. strikes on alleged drug boats in the Caribbean on Sept. 2:

"Righteous strikes." "Entirely lawful."

This is such an amazing lie. Yeah man I just watched my friends get obliterated out of nowhere and I'm clinging to wreckage with burns over my whole body but I just...need...to finish...my...drug run
A top admiral is expected to tell lawmakers tomorrow that he and his legal adviser concluded that the two survivors of a boat strike in September were attempting to continue their drug run, making them and the damaged vessel legitimate targets for another attack.

I love it when my political party has a strong floor. It's also very good when there's no ceiling above that floor. Floors and ceilings somehow make me think of needed transformative policy for a struggling county. I think the slogan is great.
No value, no villain, no vision. Sounds like the tagline for the earnings call of a collapsing appliance retailer

According to ESPN’s Alden Gonzalez, the Angels and Anthony Rendon are in discussions to buy out the final year of his seven-year, $245 million contract.

Rendon is owed $38 million in 2026 and is expected to retire, per Gonzalez.

I'll go back to not caring after this post, but I still get a little perturbed when people who hate TLJ still pretend "let the past die" is the message of the movie. Like what you like of course but I don't understand why this particular movie is one where people decide to lose media literacy
haven’t seen ROS or Solo but this seems like a pretty ball-knowing list from Pritzker, particularly if he volunteered the name “Star Wars” rather than “A New Hope”
