Prices are going up everywhere, I know. 45 is still a good price to pay to keep these areas maintained and available.
The cost of the annual #DiscoverPass has increased from $30 to $45 to help provide revenue to keep state lands maintained and operational.

Awesome. It's often disappointing when an article highlighting these not normal times doesn't get the traction is deserves 'cause folks hit the paywall. As much as I'd love to, I can't subscribe to digital media for one story.
They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.
Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow
As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy
