Looking forward to this getting finished. There are two stretches like this where the junctions haven't been completed yet. Some locals still insist cyclists should be using them!

In this cold weather #homeless people can be especially at risk. A helpful resource is StreetLink and you can alert them to a person needing help. You could save a life in this cold weather!

There seems to be a trend for some male cyclists to pull in front of a female cyclist in an ASL with the assumption that we will be slower than them. Stop it.

Good article about the rise of "ghost plates" where drivers try to avoid their responsibilities by making their VRM invisible to cameras.

Idiot driver reported. This was on a bend as well. I'd have paid the price if he'd lost control in the water, or encountered an oncoming vehicle.

If I'd seen this one a few seconds later, the vehicle would've been stationary, which makes phone use alright according some.

Of course, some drivers are on their phones as often as possible whether stationary or not.

It's time to taken action to get these things off our roads FULL STOP.

Absolutely nobody needs one.

I lived in the Highland of Scotland for more than 20 years and absolutely nobody who went off-road used one because they were too big, too heavy, too wide, and didn't have buck/boot space
Leading medical publication the British Medical Journal recognises SUVs as a danger to public health in a new editorial co-authored by T&E’s James Nix: bit.ly/4hVDlBC

Large SUVs are a danger to pedestrians, cyclists & other drivers.

It's time to take action to reduce their presence in urban areas.

I was reminded of this nasty incident from 2019 the other day. Generally, tailgating isn't worth submitting to the police in my area, but this case was close enough and dangerous enough to be taken to court. The driver was convicted & even had to pay me compensation! www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1Cd...

Giving me the w ⚓ sign, because I stopped your incompetent driver from overtaking me into the path of two oncoming 🚔 cars with lights and sirens wasn't a fair reaction from the passenger here!

The trouble with stationary drivers using phones is when they move off. This one missed the traffic setting off in front of her and ended up jumping the red light quite late.

Road closure near me... Very heavy traffic on the country lanes. Explained it to a driver. Hope it was helpful.

On the extremely unlikley chance that anyone recognises this cyclist, please get them to contact me as the police have confirmed they're moving forward with a prosecution for the driver so I could use a second witness if it goes to court.
I hit a milestone today

This was my 1,000th traffic offence report to the Met Police. And I've got a 78% success rate. so 780 drivers have received warning letters, points, fines and dates in court. I've been to court 15 times with two more lined up over the next 6 months.

Here's to the next 1,000
