Thanks to everyone who's been reposting my stuff. Remember in the early days of social media when we'd be so excited by what we saw that we'd retweet it? That's since fallen off as we've gotten used to it, but that's how we leverage the power of SM. Please help me reach a wider audience

The next novel contains some of the most emotional scenes I’ve ever written. There’s also a bit of violence in there and some shadows with teeth.

Do not buy my books from Amazon or Down and Out Books directly. I will not get paid. I should get paid, as per my contract, but in an email from D&O I’ve been told ‘no further payments will be issued.’
It absolutely blows it is ending this way, but man, pay your authors what they are owed.

I’m so sure it’s gotten to the point that I’m telling people not to buy my books because my publisher won’t honour our contract. Who keeps my percentage of a sale? Who receives the money? Not me, apparently. So fucking shitty.

These books are still available for purchase for some reason, and yes I appreciate every sale, but please know that every book I’ve sold this last month I will not be paid for. ‘No further payments will be issued’ I’m told. I choose to laugh instead of scream, but still, fuck me.

This is how propaganda works. They slapped an image on this from Los Angeles in 1992 during Rodney King riots.
