I know people have a lot of negative things to say about IUD insertions, but I had an IUD for more than a decade and never got pregnant and as soon as I took it out I found out I was pregnant like a month later. I took the test just to start routinely testing, expecting a neg. IUDs are great!

No one is safe with her at the helm! Ironically, she tried to fire a pilot who wouldn't turn around midflight to retrieve a forgotten BLANKET but she calls off a search & rescue mission at sea for a lost service member so more abducted brown PEOPLE can be sent to a 3rd country quicker???
How is it possible that Kristi Noem still has this job. Imagine if you’re a family member or a shipmate of this guardsman.

My brother actually did get away with it once. They didn't even call my mom about it, just talked to him and he said "well what did he expect when he's always bullying other kids?". Even for a 10yo that made sense
This feels like the modern equivalent of me punching the school bully just as the headteacher came around the corner, and getting off lightly because he "probably had it coming"

6! People claim he's changed but literally what evidence do we have other than his stated policy positions? That's something many politicians lie about so they can assume power, because once they have it they tend to do whatever they want.

There's zero reason to give him the benefit of the doubt
there's a lot of reason to doubt him!

1. the Nazi tattoo!
2. keeping the Nazi tattoo!
3. lying about the Nazi tattoo!
4. only covering up the Nazi tattoo after backlash!
5. he's written racist and misogynist things on the Internet!
6. HE'S SEEKING MORE POWER & HAS EVERY INCENTIVE TO LIE

My thing is, how are you so concerned with opsec but not already treating it like every chat is already compromised? If you're not doing that, then that's not good opsec from the get go
Okay final thought on the opsec thing:

Everyone has their own risk appetite. But if your risk appetite is too low to include “being anonymously in the same chat room as someone who is talking to a member of the press” you should probably not be doing ICE rapid response. That is too low.

Shit like this is why I cannot stand when busybodies get in the way of new housing because "it's ugly". I find it so immoral and reprehensible to oppose housing when we have more and more people forced into the streets, and in a city that gets so cold at that.

I don't get the point of small businesses announcing that they won't close tomorrow but they stand against ice. Just don't close, and didn't say anything. It's fine to not participate but the virtue signaling—without any action—is unnecessary

Why are we reporting on what a talking, uncircumcised penis says?

What really gets me is that these people are incredibly greedy and power-hungry, yet they bend over for a man none of them respect.

They're the ultimate cowards. They're so afraid of him siccing his supporters on them even as he grows more unpopular by the day and drags the rest of them with him
Republicans are ball less chickenshit they must hate moron Trump also.

So back in June Alex Padilla was tackled and detained by ICE for trying to ask a question at a press conference. The story from the administration was he attacked her.
Fast forward 7 months, Maxwell Frost attacked, Ilhan Omar attacked. Not a peep from the media about "turning down the rhetoric". 🙄

Sorry, so is it good or bad that a lot of families are separated and people are deported?

Stop fucking bragging about how polite Obama was with his deportation machine. It wasn't good, and laid the foundation for what's happening now
383,307 removals per year with a total of 3,066,457 removals for both his terms.

I've made the same observation. We're the only ones at fault. Other countries with authoritarians are victims but not us.

Also, just like, not everyone can vote
I am noticing the folks who say that don’t say the same about Russia and manage to have more nuance about Russian folks who definitely despise their government but lack the means or privilege to “just leave” or whatever is the action. We are not a monolith and this is an authoritarian playbook.

"Thanks for letting us crash", says my brother about he and the man he showed up with in the middle of the night while I was asleep.

I let him crash. I don't know who this Paul person is.

We need to stop shaming parents for having crying babies because the way they resolve it is to play horrible videos on an iPad with the volume on and I find a crying baby infinitely more tolerable, plus I think it's better for them long term than an iPad

Casa Yari had to close not too long ago due to some leasing issues, and they're coming back as well, to Division St.

When you have a spot people really love I think it does make it easier since people are keeping an eye on when they can come back to patronize. Best of luck to them
