I know people have a lot of negative things to say about IUD insertions, but I had an IUD for more than a decade and never got pregnant and as soon as I took it out I found out I was pregnant like a month later. I took the test just to start routinely testing, expecting a neg. IUDs are great!

No one is safe with her at the helm! Ironically, she tried to fire a pilot who wouldn't turn around midflight to retrieve a forgotten BLANKET but she calls off a search & rescue mission at sea for a lost service member so more abducted brown PEOPLE can be sent to a 3rd country quicker???

My brother actually did get away with it once. They didn't even call my mom about it, just talked to him and he said "well what did he expect when he's always bullying other kids?". Even for a 10yo that made sense

My thing is, how are you so concerned with opsec but not already treating it like every chat is already compromised? If you're not doing that, then that's not good opsec from the get go

I am noticing the folks who say that don’t say the same about Russia and manage to have more nuance about Russian folks who definitely despise their government but lack the means or privilege to “just leave” or whatever is the action. We are not a monolith and this is an authoritarian playbook.

We need to stop shaming parents for having crying babies because the way they resolve it is to play horrible videos on an iPad with the volume on and I find a crying baby infinitely more tolerable, plus I think it's better for them long term than an iPad

When you have a spot people really love I think it does make it easier since people are keeping an eye on when they can come back to patronize. Best of luck to them
