Making photographs of landmarks that have been photographed a bazillion times is always challenging. I took the required shots of #TowerBridge during our London trip, of course, but I sort of like some of "the others" better. Like this one - walking up the North stairs.

I'm going to start posting some photos I took during a recent trip to London, "real camera" and iPhone shots alike. This is one of the first of the trip, a casual iPhone shot. I found the tiny tables for one on these balconies interesting as my wife and I dined at a table for two on our anniversary.

The water level in the river by my home has been extremely low for several months, giving access to some spots that are otherwise inaccessible. I took this photo last weekend from a little patch of stone that is usually an unreachable island. #photography #naturephotography #ohio

You can't win a staring contest against a heron. An hour and a half after I set up, this guy hadn't moved. I never got the fly-away shot I wanted, but am happy I got this silhouette.

One thing I love about photography is the endless subject matter that's out there. I mean, this is the side of a Wawa in St. Petersburg, Florida. I'm just sitting here charging my car staring at that wall, ladder, notch, that sky and cloud and those shadows. It's all beautiful. Had to capture it. 📷
