I’ve interviewed ten different Shopify developers in the last few weeks and i might be in love with recruiting. Finding the right “hell yes” for both parties feels so good.

scared that one day posthog is going to raise their prices dramatically now that i've replaced ga4, hotjar/clarity, monetate, and now sentry (error reporting still in beta) with their respecctive posthog alternatives.

thinking about the time i somehow loaded into the wrong venue and started setting my rig up for sound check with the stage manager before we all figured out I was the wrong band at the wrong venue. only found out because i texted my band to tell them i was at sound check. so were they. . .

Sometimes “agile” really just feels like “I didn’t want to think more than two weeks ahead” and thus we putter around continuously improving nothing in two week increments. An excuse to cut corners and ship trash.

I might add audio of birds and wind to the lp of a d2c olive oil site, recorded from the farm where it is grown, that plays while a 3D render of the bottle animates on a bg img of the farm.
