It got me thinking about how to bend some of the archaeological work to help provide relevant measurements. It could be helpful to measure both cultural and biological rates (as best as we can estimate them) within hominins, sampling up to the Holocene.

I think this makes a lot of sense and I really enjoyed reading the paper. It will structure how I think about some of these issues.

Well it’s been a long two weeks. Our objective was to collect legacy ice from a 10 Kya #Yukon Ice patch for both future research and a caribou diet study. Week one was chainsawing ice out of the face of ancient ice at the Gladstone #archaeology site.
