My concern is that whatever emerges from the #trumpshutdown will be a new form of government. Dictatorship.
Congress won't matter nor will the courts. Unitary executive power will do away with governance, and the end of the great american experiment. And then it gets really ugly.

This impacts our schools, not so much for more children attending, but dense commuter housing artificially inflates our median income and causes cuts to state aid for our schools.

Our current and previous administrations only take in builders who build dense buildings for NYC commuter apartments.
This brings our housing inventory out of balance with who really lives here. It is short-sighted and does not include impact on infrastructure—sewers, traffic, schools.
