I have the same feeling towards the general fandom as they seem to have towards RGG at this point.
It's obnoxious what RGG are doing, but at the same time.

I remember Nagoshi complaining about how Japan should of made Ghost of Tsushima but the character designs were to grounded for it to happen so this seems like him just getting to redo Yakuza but with less barriers in place.

To much on this Friday for me to watch the Game Awards but Gang Of Dragon and New Tomb Raider have been hyped, Tomb Raider seems to be finally dropping the Survivors fake dark stuff while Gang Of Dragon is like just Yakuza with more cars guns and grit.

Even if the Americans return to being a reliable partner. I would argue that we must stand on our own feet in defence now anyway. Because we can not discount the possibility that the Americans do this again.
USA is more or less already dead to me. The only way they could really come back if they elect D supermajorites, and they prosecute pretty much all people involved in Trump admin for a wide variety of crimes, including extreme corruption, war crimes like this, and treason.
