This is technically correct (the best kind of correct! 👍) a fun anomaly of Reagan's wins was specifically crushing it with the GI-Generation (seniors in the 80s) the first time and then getting 61% of "the youth vote" in '84 - aka first year GenX was was voting.
Then came Bush I, *then* Clinton.
Then came Bush I, *then* Clinton.
Boomers were the one age demographic that didn't overwhelmingly vote for Reagan.
