Lifelong Hulk fan, Hulk comics are life. The biggest Joe Fixit fan on Bluesky. Also the second biggest Sam Sterns Stan in the world.

Furthermore: old-skool hip-hop head and videogame enthusiast.

Thanks for everything you brought to the Hulk lore, for adressing mental illnesses and neuroatypies with a great respect. Without you, I wouldn't love Sam like I do
This is a great loss for gamma spawns but a greater loss for the comics World

Rest in Peace Peter David

As much as I love Rowell's She-Hulk, the most recent issue shows again how most Marvel writers won't have picked up on every detail from Immortal Hulk. Ewing established that it was Joe who saved Jen. A brilliant retcon that fits the character perfectly. Probably destined to be ignored.

And for what it's worth these are mine. The games that I have the fondest memories of, the ones I personally had the most fun with in my entire life. I love these games.

Currently I'm taking a break from the big budget modern games and diving into Trails in the Sky SC on my Steam Deck.

It's a lovely and very charming PS1era style RPG but it looks way sharper and more detailed than PS1 games ever could. Really good writing too

This is 12 years before Peter David introduced the DID angle and 7 years before Bill Mantlo wrote Bruce's abuse but it's interesting to see that Stern was was the first to have Hulk lash out in response to bad memories from Bruce's past that he also remembered.

Al Ewing's Immortal Hulk is in many ways a direct sequel to Peter David's legendary 12 year run.

From Incredible Hulk minus 1: Brian Banner is convicted for killing Bruce's mom and subsequently released. In a haunting sequence it becomes clear that Brian still wants to kill Bruce.

From Incredible Hulk 226, 1978 by Roger Stern and Sal Buscema. The first time Hulk underwent a psychotherapy session by Doc Samson. We get some interesting insights into the mind of the jade giant.

It reminds me of Alex Ross' Immortal Hulk 15 cover, but I don't know if it was a direct inspiration.

I accidentally stumbled across this Ron Frenz commission while looking for calendars.

It's an INCREDIBLE work of art showcasing the Savage era and the Fixit era. You can keep finding new references the longer you look at it.

Also big Sam!

Finally an artist who saw the venetian blinds hairstyle of Norman and just went all-in on it.
I cannot wait to read this book! JMD will doubtless be dropping some major insights into the Osborn family's early days.
