🚩🚀 Liftoff! #LandSpace launched #Zhuque-3 rocket today! I was at the launch site and saw it successfully delivered the second stage to orbit. While the attempt to recover the first stage didn't make it, the mission is a big deal for the rocket's future development.

#OTD in 1945, then Lt Cmd Eric 'Winkle' Brown made the first deck landing of a jet aircraft on HMS Ocean in DH Vampire LZ551/G. Brown landed against orders. Brown's feelings on carrier jet operations contributed to the Royal Navy not putting jets to sea for a further five years.
