In June 1926, the Nanjing Govt sent soldiers to the Saitula outpost in southern Xinjiang - at 3800m elevation they presumed it had been long abandoned.

They found 17 Qing empire soldiers still guarding the outpost despite the empire falling in 1910.

I saw the pitch requirements for this vehicle back in 2014 or 15 and there was no way they would have gotten anything seemingly 'normal' based on the requirements
