Really gotta appreciate the simplicity of Chinese sometimes, rather than mess around with fancy names for body parts etc they simplify.
cartilage is simply "soft bones"

Mad that this car is like 20 years old and still looks fresh
Finally got around to taking some nice photos of the rental MX-5. I've not even taken any of my *own* MX-5 like this. (Nor have I driven my own car on any roads as good as the one I found today 🤷‍♂️)

whenever the Isreali embassy or consulate posts on Chinese social media there are the occasional supportive comments holding back a flood of free Palestine comments
Chinese wear keffiyeh as a symbol of support for Palestine (but the keffiyeh is banned by Victorian parliament) thediplomat.com/2025/11/how-...

Watching a video of a dude double gunning his EV truck in China with twin chargers and getting nearly 2000amps of power at once

400V cars are like 180-250 or 😂

Had these for the past few months and gotta admit the speed of start up of the Action6 is pretty much taking it to DSLR replacement for ease of use + carrying around

Also looks proper with the macro lens installed

The absolute ORIGINAL Chinese cloned car - I presumed they had all died out by 2010 but we still have a survivor here!

Current options: team building or avoid it by going on a biz trip to Saudi Arabia.

I mean there's bad choices and also bad choices

Hangzhou recently closed one of four urban l cross river bridges for redevelopment and it’s caused a wonderful sense of chaos.

Of course there are multiple tunnels but nothing can replace a bridge doing 8000 hours per hour in one direction

Watching a rare stray dog use the zebra crossing like wtf - it even waited for the light to change

Summer 2025 a major global Japanese bike components company came to me and asked if I would like sponsorship

I said yes of course - recognition after 25+ years of riding bikes sounded ace

Six months later a huge, gigantic box of components has landed in my office.

I am so giddy

Lost the ride hailing car lottery, ID7 arrived
Gained a lot of user insight

Driver loves the handling, performance efficiency and perceived safety

Hates the software

Wishes the rear seat was 5cm longer for leg support and a better reclining angle

Funniest 48 hours on Twitter in a long time.
If I’m understanding this correctly, X is owned by a white nationalist who pays poor people of color in developing countries to pretend to be working class white Americans to scare other white Americans into being afraid poor people of color from developing countries are going to ruin America?

Just realised I drove in excess of 600km this week in my EV truck, total cost: 150rmb on public charges

The U.K. governance strategy is to simply make life worse for its citizens year after year; there is no British Dream, there is only British Dystopia where life basics are unobtainable

The Chinese govt gets a lot of stereotypes thrown around but here they are sending out questionnaires on how to make travel to China + life in China easier for foreign nationals.

Kinda cool to see they are actually listening + acting on feedback.
