And boy does this make me happy for all these people who we want to leave our state 😊
Hi. MN getting a lot of attention right now.

Do NOT underestimate weather’s potential to absolutely BREAK people here, especially new-to-towners.

When it snows hard, drops to way below zero, everything frozen, it can make you stop functioning. Horrify and immobilize you. Changes EVERYTHING.
As of late morning, snow was falling in the Red River Valley with northerly winds gusting to more than 40 mph. Weather stations were reporting near-zero visibility at times.

In the face of multiple raids in food shelves in the Twin Cities, my church has dedicated itself to continuing to hold ours this weekend and to find ways to do it in as safe a way as possible to feed as many people as possible

I’m just so glad to get to be a part of this community

We are going on our church’s winter retreat up north next weekend, and the weather is going to be fun for my birthday on Saturday

Just a reminder why you shouldn’t support this fundraiser or why it is unsurprising that Dems are raising money for doing nothing instead of raising money for the communities being directly harmed by our federal government

Kavanaugh welcomed racial profiling so this all legal now in America
Q: Why are we seeing Americans being asked on the street to provide proof of citizenship in MN? Is that targeted enforcement & are you advising Americans to carry proof of citizenship?

NOEM: We're doing targeted enforcement. There may be individuals around a criminal we ask to validate identity

Chris helps run All of MPLS, the Frey-aligned PAC that helped coordinate a campaign stoking anti-Somali racism to defeat Omar Fateh, which helped the fraud story stay alive enough for Demuth to use to call in Nick Shirley

Now he is using the Know Your Rights docs Twin Cities DSA created

Just got back from church council. We have our food shelf on Tuesdays, and while we were not hit by ICE, the food shelf on the other side of the lake was. This is the first time we know they have gone into a food shelf since they came to Minnesota

It’s the Baptism of Jesus Sunday

Our sermon was about Jesus showing up with John the Baptist who was already under watch from the State and is murdered shortly after and what it means for us to remember our baptismal vows and to show up for those in our community who are under threat from the state

My online school has opened enrollment from across our district to any student who feels they aren’t safe to come in person any more

And while I am so happy we can take that on to support continuing their education, it breaks my heart how many students don’t feel safe in our schools now

Walz has one of the best legacies of any governor but him dropping out one month before the caucuses so only people with a statewide name recognition like Klobuchar can win is the same as Biden waiting as long as he did so there couldn’t be anyone but Harris who could run

Sooo @ilhanmn.bsky.social for governor?? I would love to volunteer for her campaign and support her in primary caucuses
