Trump knows when his time is up, he is going to jail; he will do anything to prevent that from happening. His Epstein world conspirators and those providing cover and aid to these murders and rapist will also do anything to not hear the locks click on their cells.
He often says the quiet parts out loud and then pretends like he was joking or something. Don't doubt that this isn't and hasn't been on his mind from the beginning.
