Capitalism is a process of reducing the opportunity cost of specific productive behaviors and so enhancing the general productive repertoire.
The Economic Singularity, robots making robots, is both alien and inherent to that process. It is a limiting case and requires a wealth transfer.

There are people who are rigid in their economic thinking that Keynesian notions of aggregate demand are false, that markets will correct excesses left to themselves.
To those people: rigorously define how many Volkswagens equal a superyacht in economic impact. Then we'll talk.

Pardon my author's paranoia but I posted and time stamped a substantial outline as an idea for a book on my blog site. An unregistered machine, read dark net, just scraped that blog site. If it was a grifter the book will be in your neighborhood bookstore in days. Oh well.

I'm still puzzling at a book I intend to write about the process of ideation from formative influences to foundational notions. I subtitle it, "The History of an Idea". Here's a try at an outline...

When I wrote this blog in August 2025 it was early to the problem. World models for physical #AI now ready to download, #Cosmos. #ClaudeCode now reducing humanpower requirements in coding.
I generated this scheme brainstorming with #Claude who wrote it up like a good #assistant.

If we start replacing human labor with robot labor, and we do get closer to that by the day, the market economy dies a horrible death of demand insufficiency. We have to create a transfer mechanism which preserves private property and free markets. Here's a try...

When the economic system stops empowering labor, even white collar labor, and starts replacing it the system collapses from demand insufficiency. We are at that point.
The solution is a transfer of wealth from robot labor to consumers, such as a per hour licensing fee on robots.

There are good tutorials on "agentic AI" around. It would be a good idea to watch a few. It's not a different architecture. It's an incremental extension of LLMs, subject to hallucinations, subject to mistakes. It's agentic because it's a prompt generator. It prompts itself essentially.

No joke: I got angry hate mail today for writing an obituary of a Black woman scientist—because the person felt she did didn’t deserve the recognition.

Which just makes me want to share it again: www.nature.com/articles/d41...
Gladys Mae West obituary: mathematician who pioneered GPS technology
She made key contributions to US cold-war science despite facing huge barriers as a Black woman.

We're having a problem in semantics which is making communication difficult. Given the legal environment of property, especially the primary tort of English common law, public nuisance, there is no absolute ownership of anything. Substitute steward for owner and you get a sense of reality
