In the early morning darkness I graduated from my developmental exercise of working up a fiction/exposition hybrid like Hugo's essay in the midst of the Hunchback but more organic. I got it down. Now I start a new series for it. This is the last promo for Civilizado.

I like to work top down, beginning with big ideas and working through to dialogue and mannerisms.
I sketched out a story idea as usual but when I began to write I found that the sketch was a coherent narrative needing only technique. I am gaining competence at a difficult form.
