M off school watching Budget cos of illness. She's incredulous at how evil Kemi and the Tories are, that they'd rather have kids in poverty than lifted out. Am glad she's seen this. She's called Kemi an idiot about five times now.

Everyone who has won should hand back their awards in protest. Only way.
I’m a past winner of the Orwell Prize & won partly because I exposed Vote Leave’s unlawful activities.

Michael Gove was its co-convener & refused to answer a single q. He’s now a judge of the prize & our world is truly one that Orwell would recognise

Today marks 50 years of 'Protect and Survive'.

Brilliant to see Ste from @scarredforlife.bsky.social on BBC Breakfast TV this morning talking about growing up in the shadow of the bomb.

Also featured was an amazing piece with Roger Limb discussing the music and sounds he composed for the PIF.

Had to ask that my doctors record a near miss on my notes. They have *twice* today tried to prescribe me a medication that its use of has ended up with me being in A&E.

Absolutely fucking mindblowing.

Watching Udo Kier on screen was like watching the Imp of the Perverse. Strangely, l was watching Brawl in Cell Block 99 last night and his evil wee blue eyes lit that film up. There will never be another like him. Vale.
