Just realised that the BL have mistakenly used the cover I had discarded for POSSESSED at the back of the book (promoting the BL shop). Reason is that the first version made Helga Stourcross look like she had a beard. A subtle change, but man, one you're dialed in, you can't unsee it!

Possessed a lost novel rediscovered by the endlessly determined @johnnymains.co.uk that has a nack (and a boat load of hardwork behind the scenes) for finding these incredible stories. All I will say is you will not see the twist coming and read his other finds from publisher Mislaid Books

Last night's Buy Me a Coffee post.
Today's Buy Me A Coffee is a free post on a failed novel I was hoping to write in 2019 about Fatty Arbuckle. My research contained a lot of clippings about actresses who killed themselves in the 20s and 30s. These are some of those clippings.

Made a little felt Triffid, based on the Penguin paperback cover.
In retrospect I wish I hadn’t chosen the most nutsack colour to sew what was already quite a bollockular form but sometimes I quite enjoy having created myself a bit of an obstacle to deal with, or in this case, a testicle to surmount
