Dredd drawn by RM Guera and H Flint are two artists who capture the energy and imagination of those early Ezquerra and McMahon strips.

It's the kind of retro-future nostalgia meant for Saturday mornings that only comic shops can provide.

Mark making in the park before The Bone Temple.

28 Years Later was my favourite film in a long time. The style and soundtrack won me over and the decision to not go with the 'manly man' version and give something different was refreshing.

It's with a certain trepidation that I am going to see The Bone Temple this afternoon.

I got hit by the giant in your face WIP that is the new Windows 11 Start Menu this week.

Luckily #Windhawk Windows 11 Start Menu Styler mod has a ‘Disable new start menu layout’ toggle, leave Theme set to None and you have the previous proportioned Start Menu back.

Drawing outside on the way home from Asda somewhere Durkar Low Lane. 6°c and overcast. Gave up after 25 minutes. Hands and back seized up. Shuffled off home for black Redbush tea and a Snickers bar.

Henry one of the few brands like tyrrells (crisps) and Sainsbury's (sausages) that I am happy to promote for free. Absolutely world class vacuum cleaner. Manoeuvrability is woeful, but my god, what a suck.
Amyway. Every memtion of tax-dodger supreme James Dyson is an excuse to remind everyone that Henry vaccuums are incredible AND made in the UK.

Gonna get their pet hair one when our current machine dies.

The nations best loved vacuum and chosen by millions for his reliability, high performance and of course, his cheeky smile. Henry is the UK’s best-selling vacuum.

Panel drawn while watching Osgood Perkins's Keeper.

I really enjoyed the film and the drawing.

'Jones goes for a walk'. Drawing from February 2015.

I thought this was lost long ago. Found it tucked away while looking for something else in the sketchbook graveyard.

Chancellor Reeves November pre budget speech.

Why does it all sound so familiar?

Did a little impromptu paper and ink performance for someone's special day this morning.

(I've replaced the original birthday wishes with some inane babbling from the internet!)

Watched 'Protein' the other night and really enjoyed it (my only real complaint is the lead character is too stoic!).

The 'Ken Loach' meets vigilante serial killer angle worked for me as did the similarity to 1999's (eat to live) Ravenous.

It's been a weird year for my drawing.

It kind of peaked using a computer and I wasn't able to sustain or replicate the results I was getting.

With all the Ai shenanigans going on at the minute, my response is to go back to basics and draw freehand with a brush pen.

Drawing direct.

I work part time in recruitment (admin, min wage) so know the amount of checks already in place.

Digital ID has nothing to do with controlling migration and everything to do with pandering to the elusive far right vote.

Notes on refilling a Pental Colour Brush Pen - refilling never really worked for me, it loses the hairline/bold mark making quality I love it for.

However I recently discovered, dipping the brush in water and gently squeezing dilutes the ink enough to restore it's gorgeous inky qualities.
