My formative years as a gamer were heavily influenced by Hideki Sato's creations.
The SEGA Genesis, Saturn, and Dreamcast were pivotal for me. His work is and will always be legendary. And now he's gone.

Also, I still think the greatest need drop in film history happens when Mann's film adaptation of Miami Vice uses Mogwai's Auto-Rock. Shit makes you feel like you're about to float away into space watching that scene.
