If we set aside the Trump admin’s traitorous incompetence, the 28-point plan, and the fact the US now knows Ukraine deserves better, it’s clear Ukraine will get a far better deal than Istanbul 2022, contrary to the rhetoric of those pushing the lie that it should have signed then

Trump essentially tried to force Russia’s unchanged demands on Ukraine without even reading them, threatening to cut intelligence sharing and weapons sales.
Now that he knows Ukraine would have refused, his administration claims it was only Russia’s list. Amateurs and traitors!

To sum it up:

The funny thing about Trump is that no matter how much he threatens to walk away from negotiations to end the war in Ukraine, he never does because he wants to be the one who ends it.
