I studied for a Level 7 Degree Apprenticeship because I couldn't afford to take on a full time MSc. But now Government changes are removing Level 7 Apprenticeship funding for those aged over 21 - penalizing especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
I've been working with my industry body and they've launched this petition to protect funding for Level 7 Apprenticeships. Please sign and share.

People's jobs are on the line as the UK has fallen behind our peer countries on pharmaceutical spending.
Those two albums in particular got me through a lot of university stress. But each subsequent release has been a tougher and tougher listen 😭
It feels like she's taken the huge hits she had in Evermore and Folklore, and sort of typecast herself. But each time she writes something new, she's doubling even further down on the same vibe (and the lyrics are hence getting worse).

I listened to the album a couple of times, but each time it just went in one ear and out the other. I could barely pay attention to the music or lyrics - it was boring. It's also become quite hard to tell many of her recent works apart, sonically and lyrically.

The polarisation of immigration goes both ways.
The Lib Dems want to stop the boats because seeing people dying in the channel is barbaric. They also want to clear the backlog because asylum seekers being in limbo, living for months in hotels, is horrible.
The difference is what their solution is!

It took 48 hours but I managed to get from Hampshire, UK to Rome, Italy entirely by train 🚂

Potentially putting Afghan asylum seekers who worked with the British armed forces into concentration camps and then paying the Taliban to accept them back Afghanistan so that they can execute them should be a greater cause for alarm than it appears to be.

The anti-LGBTQ+ lobby won't be happy until full gender segregation has been passed into law. I wonder if they have thoughts about the human rights situation in Afghanistan right now?
Legally, there isn't the slightest basis to the complaint, even on the most extreme possible interpretation of the Supreme Court judgement. A shop floor is not a single sex space, regardless of whether they sell bras or not. This is just hatred and spite, unleashed.
The employee asked the girl and her mother if they needed help shopping. That’s it. That’s all. The misinformation, the insinuations (because the facts are inconveniently benign) are EXACTLY what was done to lesbians in the 80s. This is the product of hate and fear, not reality.
