I came in 25 hour under budget on a contract I'm working on. And while I'm sure the non-profit appreciates it, that's $1500 I left on the table. And while a person may try to find ways to milk those last 25 hours, I am not in such a situation where that $1500 is worth screwing over my client.

We *really* need to actively differentiate Machine Learning from GenAI. GenAI is riding the Machine Learning coattails and risks destroying an incredibly useful innovation by conflating it with absolute slop that codes decently.

I need to pick up a prescription tomorrow. It costs me 31 cents. While I agree the penny needed to be discontinued, simply setting the mint quantity to zero offered no clarity to what happens when companies or consumers no longer have pennies. Do I pay 31 cents? Do I pay 35 cents?

I'm tired of all the articles talking about how Gen Z can't start their careers that contort themselves to avoid mentioning wealth inequality. They can't find jobs because too many Boomers can't afford to retire. You have people in their 60s and 70s filling career roles when they should be relaxing.

It would ensure major AI solutions only came from the biggest players, but I think companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google should power their data centers with nuclear power that they build and maintain. An off-grid solution entirely for themselves, paid for from their own wallets.

Now that my fury has cooled, I'm pondering if the 8 Democratic turncoats might have actually been right. With a president who enjoys being cruel and a speaker that does whatever the president tells him, there likely was no negotiation to be made. Pain and suffering were the goal not the cost.
