When people use “redneck” to mean someone who is dumb/backward it betrays the fact that they have no historical understanding of the word.
It doesn’t mean someone who refuses to engage when the government is abusing its citizens.

I do not think that we can be more loving, compassionate, or inclusive than God. When it feels like we are, that is an indicator that our understanding of God is too small and is ready to grow.
