heard about octs ~2014, finally started getting involved with the general community around 2015, especially through OMGOCT bc that got me onto discord (despite not auditioning lel). My favorite is MurderHouseOCT bc it was during a turning point in my life + where i met many of my current orbitals

capitalism is like, a really really huge pyramid scheme.

When enough people aren't seeing any kind of benefit of capitalism, everything stalls. The whole point is to circulate money, so when it doesn't- bc poor people have none and rich people hoard/accumulate it all- everything just sort of stops

Been trying to explain why economy increasingly feels like it's running wholly on rich people passing each other same bag of money - innovation is stalled, unemployment is rising, but stock tickers are still somehow going up. This example captures the current state of our economy perfectly.
