This has been a battle! I took the data (270 x 2s exposures) on the 21st and it has taken until today to battle with Siril and Photoshop to get it acceptable. I'm very pleased with the result!

Although the sky was clear, there was a lot of haze on the horizon from wildfires and a myst/fog over the pon dthe led to some interesting lighting and color conditions when I spotted this green heron this morning...

I suppose you can't get much blacker than space, although as this photo shows, there's a heck of a lot of "not black" in our neighbourhood! This is the area around Polaris, the North Star.

Very lucky to be at #PorlockMarsh in #Somerset at high tide and sunset on Saturday. The salt marsh floods when the tides are particularly high and sometimes that coincides with sunset or sunrise. Gorgeous.
