Comms and campaigns guy. Worked with a whole bunch of orgs and campaigns--some more fun than others. Don't know what I'm doing, but maybe I'll figure it out one day. (he/him)
There are some shots which are so good, so utterly arresting, that even when you’ve seen the movie many times before, you remain in awe of it. This is one of those.

Also, I completely forgot how devastating a line “Noodles, I slipped” was. Oof.

No idea if they’d call off the briefing because of this, but I’m seeing reports of a possible national guard involved shooting in Farragut Square.
is there a WH press briefing today?

When all is said and done, how many will have thrown away their decency, commitment to the truth, and integrity for Donald Trump? For Donald Trump!
BREAKING: Georgia prosecutor who took over 2020 election interference case says he's dropping charges against Trump and others.

I’m shocked, shocked, I say, that so many of Trump’s businesses have failed. With business genius like this, how could he fail?

I’d love to take some time off for the holidays, but these past few weeks, Payday Report has been in a fundraising drought.

It’s absolutely wild how some folks simply cannot analyze anything without first applying a political lens.

Horrifying read. We absolutely need to get this shit under control before someone makes good on their threats. You want to bet on sports? Fine. Go to a sportsbook, casino, or track. The apps and advertising have to go before someone gets hurt.

Pretty clear that sociopathic and wannabe humorist Stephen Miller wrote this pathetic speech.
Trump: "Instead of pardons, some of my more enthusiastic staffers were already drafting the paperwork to ship Gobble and Waddle straight to the Terrorist Confinement Center in El Salvador."

I’ve seen fewer white dudes at a local craft brewery known for their extra hoppy IPAs than the lineup for this Semafor event.

Look, being cool doesn't mean that you'll be successful, but I think after reading this we can determine that Bari Weiss is one of the least cool people to ever gain power, wealth, and fame/infamy.

A lot of that going around these days....

Nothing else happening in the country or the world that demands the opinions of WaPo’s editorial board than the lack of paper towels in public restrooms.
At this point, the Washpost edit page is just trolling its readers.

This is today's actual house editorial.

Look, who doesn't think putting your bare feet up on the chair in front of you isn't gross and unbecoming, but isn't this a little weird for the Transportation Secretary to care this much?

Can't be a coincidence that mere minutes before a federal judge dismissed charges against James Comey and Letitia James, DOD announced they are considering court martial proceedings against Mark Kelly.

Removing requirements seems like a great way not only to fail students but to ensure that money goes to anything *but* public education.
Linda McMahon: "The states will have less requirements because more money will go in block grants to the states ... I have called for a hard reset of education because we have failed our students."

What in the ever-loving fuck?
BLITZER: During WW2, Nazi officers were following the chain of command, obeying illegal orders & slaughtered Jews during the Holocaust

McCLAIN: We're a long way from Nuremberg trials & the slaughtering of Jews. If you want to talk about the slaughtering the Jews we can have that convo another time
November 24, 2025 at 3:41 PM
You know who else was just following orders, no matter how immoral and indecent? (This is rhetorical--you know the answer.)
BLITZER: I want to be precise. Should members of the US military obey clearly illegal orders?

McCLAIN: You're asking an enlisted person for their opinion on what they think is legal. That's a pretty slippery slope. Follow your commander in chief. That's the oath that you took

(Not a no!)
