Anyone do #colouring in?
As in #colouringbooks etc?
If so wd you pay a Ko-fi for a PDF download of a few #doodles to colour in?
I been doing 2 #doodleart classes/week since 2021, got loads sketchbooks full.
ChatGPT suggests selling PDFs of them to fund getting some printed as a colouring book.

Ty, I know someone on Giffgaff who has offered me their referral code & I think we both get a bonus so I'll check out their deals & the O2 signal here.
Morning ORCs, yesterday turned out dry after all but was a waste of a day, mostly spent trying to sort out mobile internet problems.
Lots (of chores) to do today which I'd intended doing yesterday.
Still in bed as v tired but I can hear that it's wet out there ☹️ & reluctant to move 🙄
Ty but 3 network signal is the problem, Smarty also uses 3.
I don't have a landline & need about 120-150gb /month (no TV either so I have to stream anything I do want to watch).
Plus the hassle having to research new deal & port number, change DD, etc again having only done it 6mths ago.
I've just had 5 hrs mobile internet signal with only 1 drop out 🎉 & a reasonable speed though not great, but it only takes about 10 seconds to load a page instead of several minutes!
Wondering if this is just a serendipitous coincidence after sending a snotty email to #Smartymobile
Yeah but you're OC ORC & that's a v worthwhile role, contributes a lot to many, probably more than you realise. It's a community now, which you've been instrumental in building.
Yep. Grifters. Farage was happy enough to take MEP salary & now MP salary but does nothing to earn it. With an EU passport.
Tice living tax free in Dubai.
Cameron who did it to save himself & his political career.
All rich men, robbing the country & laughing at the gullibles who believed their 🐂💩
I suspect its a prob with local 3 transmitter/ mast in town centre since beg of Sept. I'm on 4thfloor not overlooked so should get good signal, I used to till end Aug.
Signal is bit better now outside of office hours.
No signal 9-5.week days.
Wasnt too bad on Sun.

I'll have to switch to EE I think.
Smarty uses 3 & it seems the problem is with 3 near me. I get good Voda signal here in flat but bad in town centre so switched to Smarty which was great everywhere from March to end of Aug, then crap in flat & town centre.
I get good 4g/5g with Smarty half a mile up the coast & from Aldi downwards.
PS. Posted sitting outside in car park for the past couple of hours trying to get a signal & it may or may not post 🙄😡
So I'm telling everyone not to use Smarty as their Ts&Cs apparently say that they may /may not offer you the mobile internet service that you thought you'd been paying for.

And customer svc is shite.
But most utility companies cust svc is shite these days.

End of rant.

Smarty = Not Smart

So I'm just going to have to put up with very limited internet access another couple of days till I can get away in van again & can get good 5g signal 3 miles away.

The whole town centre is affected but Smarty have been implying it's just my signal. Basically fobbing me off.

Twats.

But I don't want to switch - its a social tariff deal £12/month, I dont want to waste hours or expensive PAYG data on another cheap SIM trying to find another really cheap deal & port my number again. And I've got so much going on at the mo last thing I need is more paperwork.

8/
Then Smarty said they want to be honest & transparent so they'll give me a PAC code to switch as they can't say whether the signal problem will ever be fixed despite their website saying they've been working on it nearly 2 months to restore normal connection.

7/
I pointed out that I'd just spoken to the local mobile phone shop who told me the signal has got so bad in past 2 months (since the merger with Voda) that he now tells customers not to use 3 or Smarty & no longer sells their Sims.

6/
Then they said they would refund this month which I thought had already been done as they said they would do that over a week ago.

5/
Then they said that it was unplanned episodic outages which happened to every network sometimes till I pointed out that their signal checker has been saying that they are working on issues since early Sept.

4/
...they can't guarantee a connection. Even though I previously had an excellent signal.

So now I'm wondering what mobile phone networks actually offer 🤔

For the past week they've implied the problem is at my end till I pointed out that I had great 5g signal when away from home last week.

3/
Now nearly 2 weeks after reporting & after nearly 2 months of almost no signal, they want me to do speedtests, which require an internet connection...

Then they say that they can't offer a "perfect" connection (any daytime connection would do) & apparently their Ts&C's say...
2/
#SmartyMobile - not so smart. Reported to them nearly 2 weeks ago that I've had virtually no internet signal since end Aug, only a slow connection between about 10pm & 9am, causing havoc & much stress.
1st problem was you can only contact them by web chat which requires an internet connection.

And even if EU is prepared to tolerate us back, even if UK govt offers a Return ref, even if UK voters vote to return, UK will never get the deal we had before, never be held in the same esteem with bargaining power & we'll be returning as the poor cousin, not the prodigal son.

Profiteering, neglect, poverty and housing crisis.

Liverpool has 12,764 households social housing waiting list. Only FIVE “additional social rent dwellings”.

Repeated across the UK.

Landlords evict tenants, councils can't build social housing, council funding cut for years, lives destroyed.

Liverpool was once praised for its tolerance, but housing shortages are driving fearful, unsettling behaviours – and people are blaming outsiders, says Guardian columnist John Harris

Ty, rain forecast this afternoon ☹️
Morning ORCs, pitch black outside. Up 0430, making the most of mobile internet signal while I've got one (virtually no signal btwn 0900-2100 daily for the past 4-6 wks😡).
If it stays dry I may go to allotment today & may stay away overnight. Otherwise today is paperwork, admin, housework, chores ☹️
A few days is bearable but it's been grey & dismal for most of this month. We had some clearer sky for couple hours this morning but raining since about noon ☹️
Forecast for this week is pretty grim too.
The greyness is just energy sapping.
Ty, not nearly as spectacular as some of the summer photos but its the 1st visible sunrise in well over a week & its so good to have direct sunlight again & for the gloomy low grey blanket to have lifted, even though its breezy & chilly & rain forecast for later. The light makes such a difference.
