Anyone do #colouring in?
As in #colouringbooks etc?
If so wd you pay a Ko-fi for a PDF download of a few #doodles to colour in?
I been doing 2 #doodleart classes/week since 2021, got loads sketchbooks full.
ChatGPT suggests selling PDFs of them to fund getting some printed as a colouring book.

Appeasing landlords.

Decent homes standard for England’s private renters will not be enforced until 2035.

Millions of renters are stuck paying hand over fist for shoddy homes that pose a real danger to their health.

Damn.
Awake 0300, stuff on mind, plans to make, options to consider, brain on fire. No chance of more sleep.

So got up, made Nescafé, sat in comfy chair, rolled my 1st cigarette of the year, stood out on balcony in a fleece top & bare legs in the cold Easterly wind, & smoked the rollie.

Big decisions made. I have a cunning plan. Or at least the bare bones of one.
It's not going to be easy, the dog can't come with me, I can't keep him safe & well on the road. So we need to go see the vet in next few weeks. After that, my only tie here will be monthly meds collection for 2 months.

Heard back from Social worker, they're not doing a care assessment as apparently its not urgent & I'm managing. So they're passing me on somewhere else, not sure where, my brain struggled to take in what they were actually saying.
But basically fobbed off. Which is why I needed an advocate 🤷

Now that #ADHD medication is starting in 72hrs, self doubt is creeping in... What if I'm not ADHD?

So I've retaken the official ASRS test (used to assess if symptoms are present, for referral for assessment).

18 qns.
A score above 6/18 is enough for referral.

My score= 17/18

I'm reassured.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

What a difference sunshine makes. Not only on mood but on the temperature in my living room. It was 13C inside at 0830, after 2 hrs sunshine through the patio windows it's now 18C without any heating on.
And it's spurred me into action to finally clean kitchen after weeks of not doing it.

Blimey, it's wild out there! A howling v chilly easterly wind hitting my balcony & windows. Flat is v cold, wish we were in the van with heater on & 20C.

Yesterday was a bit of a brutal day but ended on a positive. Trying not to dwell on all the problems, just tackling what I need to do today.

It's been a difficult stressful day but it's ending with good news. I first went to see GP about #ADHD symptoms in 2017. I finally got diagnosed in Aug 2024 & was told there would be a 10 month wait for meds. I worked v hard to get blood pressure down so I could have stimulants which work best.

Just found out that the official advocate who was supposed to be helping with my benefits, ADHD meds, Autism referral, going to GP appts (delayed several months around her availability), PIP review, social care assessment etc has left the job, closing my case on 19 Dec without telling me.

“The fact that the media was informed of the NEC decision before I was tells you everything you need to know about the way the Labour Party is being run these days. You would think that over 30 years of service would count for something but sadly not”

Why is USA tolerating the execution of innocence citizens?

Do US citizens not realise that this is only the start of what is likely to come, getting worse as the murderers are not held to account?

Do people not think, "It could be me tomorrow, if I'm in the wrong place at the wrong time"?

Yesterday's plans went awry 🙄 After an hour on beach, I spent the rest of the afternoon scrolling & snoozing in bed in the van till I realised it was dark & 7pm & too late to move on. Where I am (an industrial estate) is blissfully quiet at weekends so I knew I'd have a quiet night.

A very good night's sleep, (about 9hrs) last night, woken by alarm I'd forgotten to switch off at 8am. Fairly mild 7C outside. Having a slow morning, just made coffee after heater on for 1hr (now 20c in van 🥵).
Feel so much better for good sleep, not slept that long or well for months.

It was mostly dry today tho still blowy & windchill made it feel chilly but we got to the beach for 1st time in nearly 3 weeks. Then this aft I did a 2 hr art class at a local art org which was a nice change & good to have some social contact.

Rain has finally stopped but wind is howling & altho it's fairly mild for January 7C, it feels colder. 12C in van so heater's going on shortly.
I'm in quite a sheltered spot but even so, the wind noise is pretty loud & van is rocking.

Done almost nothing all day today, the rest was much needed.

It feels so wrong to wish it would go dark soon but I'm having a PJ rest day in #campervan, there's occasionally other dog walkers around, & I just want to pop out with dog for a quick toilet break without putting proper clothes on. But don't want to be seen in PJ's, am trying to be stealthy 👀

A #poem about a #rainy day in a #campervan

It's rained & rained & rained & rained,
The river level is well maintained,
They say it's raining cats & dogs,
Turning the fields into bogs.
