Losing Luisangel Acuna sucks, but considering he almost killed me once with a foul ball, I am somewhat relieved for the Mets roster to now only bring me harm in the less violent but more damaging traditional, Metsian ways.

when the Mets lost out on Tucker my cousin and I decided to forgo our Spring Training trip (there were additional non baseball reasons). Clearly, our disappointment got back to David Stearns and spurred him to act.
Deal is completed. Freddy Peralta is a New York Met.
The New York Mets are in serious discussions with the Milwaukee Brewers to acquire ace Freddy Peralta. Deal is not yet finalized, but significant process has been made.
