The description of this process makes you wonder why there weren’t more fires. Basically, to carbonize filaments for electric light bulbs, the workers connected the filaments to two poles in vulcanized cork placed in the mouth of a small metal can.

Yes, we do! The conservative and billionaire class propaganda have half the country brainwashed into believing they don't deserve healthcare, or living wages, or childcare assistance, or better retirement. All while the those classes believe they do deserve it and hoover it all up from all of us.

We wanted to understand how regular Americans feel about the Trump administration. So we talked to three Russia-funded content farmers at a tea house in Islamabad.

The whole administration is a bad movie.

This would be the scene:

My first political memory - exactly 62 years ago right now, a 4-year-old boy trying to understand his mom's tears - is still the biggest event in my lifetime. We still (IMO) don't *really* know who killed JFK, but we know the public's trust was shattered. It's a straight line to today's mess

Five unripe Mara des Bois from the freezing cold greenhouse. Even unripe they’re sweeter than supermarket strawberries. I know because I ate number six.🌱

Mike Johnson -- who is, yes, theoretically a lawyer -- has not had a chance to look at the American Constitution because he's been very busy lately, folks, he just can't see everything, gosh, how is he supposed to know if it's wrong that the president called for the execution of congress members?

Every article I see on some legal decision is like "Judge stays ban on overturning the prohibition of temporary stoppage of cloture vote on bill to prevent exclusion of enjoining proscribed veto due to Illegitimi non carborundum."

What the hell: The US accidentally invaded Mexico on Monday, storming a beach and planting DoD “restricted area” signs claiming the land for “the commander,” and triggered a standoff with armed Mexican security forces, all because Trump’s government can’t even identify a border on a map. 🧵 1/

Underreported story of the century: NOBODY WANTS TO SHOP FOR THEIR HEALTHCARE. EVER.

Why do Republicans keep thinking the "go shopping" metaphor is a winner? NOBODY WANTS THIS. All anyone wants is to be able to go to the doctor of their choice when they need to and not get robbed in the process.
