Good discussions today at the stakeholder kick-off meeting in Pori about our case study on diversifying Finnish forests in @trees4adapt.bsky.social project. Heading back to the UK now. Many thanks to @mdpashkevich.bsky.social, @albrichk.bsky.social and @luke.fi team for organizing the meeting! πŸŒ²πŸŒ³β„οΈ

An eventful day in winter wonderland! It was a pleasure to show Satakunta forest diversity experiments to colleagues from @trees4adapt.bsky.social project

Really enjoying the kick off meeting of @trees4adapt.bsky.social project in Helsinki - fantastically organised by @luke.fi team, great group of people and inspiring discussions. Looking forward to 'team building sauna' tonight!
The Trees4Adapt team is in Helsinki for our kick-off meeting! Two days of planning, good discussions, a cold ferry to Suomenlinna, and a sauna ahead. A strong start to a Horizon Europe project on tree-based solutions 🌱

The results from this year's Bugs Matter survey (with Buglife) show that the number of flying insects sampled on vehicle number plates across the UK has fallen by a staggering 59%, corresponding to an average annual decline of 19%.

Dynamic meta-analysis tools promise transparency by letting users explore evidence by species, region or outcome β€” but each filter is a new test. My new post argues that without safeguards, transparency can become multiplicity.
