I agree with every word Zelda Williams says. And this at the end from OpenAI makes me want to go full Ned Ludd. Creators can’t have a blanket opt-out on copyright infringement of their work and have to fill out a form appealing to OpenAI’s mercy every time? Fuck off into the sun

OpenAI told the Guardian that content owners can flag copyright infringement using a “copyright disputes form” but that individual artists or studios cannot have a blanket opt-out. Varun Shetty, OpenAI’s head of media partnerships, said: “We’ll work with rights holders to block characters from Sora at their request and respond to takedown requests.”

We’ve all seen what’s going on in America now, so this isn’t something to be swept aside as scare mongering. It encompasses Tory, Reform & Christian Nationalism and like the US, it’s also looking at how to influence young voters, especially men.

Since the union and England flags appeared on our streets, I've been having to find routes that avoid driving through them, or it might look like I agree with them being there. The journeys now have to go illogical but much more pleasant routes

Psalm 90, *maybe* written by Moses over 3000 years ago, says in verse 10 that a human lifespan may be 70, or if you’re really lucky 80.

That was a bit before vaccines and modern medicines.

He didn’t mention how unlikely it was to reach 1-20. That rather lowered the average.

When Adolf Hitler came to power he released his imprisoned supporters from jail, crushed social security programmes in return for tax cuts for the rich and sent his thugs out to arrest immigrants and minorities.

The Vice President of the United States used his social media page to tell Joy Reid, a private citizen with no connection to the government, that she should express "gratitude" for how this country has treated her.

Black women remain the most consistent targets in all of this.
