Much as I kept wanting to make a proper YT essay type video, every single great idea led me back to what I'm planning for this. So I might as well wait till I'm done with that.

....and I might as well get started.
About time it's Wednesday

Sequel to Keanu's Constantine
Buckaroo Banzai vs the World Crime League
The Wachowski Sisters' Plastic Man and/or Feast
James Cameron's A Crowded Room
Adaptation of Katherine Dunn's Geek Love
If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.

I reviewed Eternity. It's the kind of high concept thing that would've been a rash all over late-80s HBO back in the day. Really sweet, and all the actors are putting in work, but it's old fashioned in a way that means it'll kinda fly in one ear and out the other within hours.

I'm the freak who puts Last Jedi and Sith at the top and Jedi down near Clones, but I can recognize a man of culture here.
haven’t seen ROS or Solo but this seems like a pretty ball-knowing list from Pritzker, particularly if he volunteered the name “Star Wars” rather than “A New Hope”

....oooookay this is now a Balatro situation and I may need to uninstall BallxPit till January. I start it at 430, blinked, and I already missed the tailgate for #AEWFullGear .

I also saw Wake Up Dead Man yesterday (but I missed 40 minutes of it due to a logistical blunder at the theater so that's an incomplete for me), amd Marty Supreme just tonight (but havent posted it yet [but it's fucking GREAT])

Yeah that makes sense.
so according to the sheets, Shelton was so happy with Bailey's sell of the superkick that he tried to tell the ref "this is the finish" but the ref couldn't hear him so we got this

The amount of people I know who have been laid off from games industry jobs and are deciding to leave games entirely as a result is not only extremely saddening (of course), but also genuinely scary. We have lost legitimately thousands of years of knowledge and experience in the last four years.

disappointed that game devs are bringing back ps1 and ps2 era graphics without also bringing back fmv cutscenes in wildly different artstyles

Got in too late to get my screen picture, but now seated for Wake Up Dead Man, hyped for Rian Johnson to go 3 for 3 with these.

I reviewed the new Sylvain Chomet movie, A Magnificent Life. Saying it's directed beautifully is a "water is wet" take on a Chomet film, but it's also not great at giving anyone who doesn't already know who Marcel Pagnol is reasons to look into him further.

I'm still flip flopping on going to Full Gear, so I skipped going to Dynamite. But my people are already rowdy as hell.

The problem was just keeping it to four. (I love you, Atsu, nothing personal)

Me: ok, time to start Game of the Year catch up, but I can't let a game take over my life like Balatro did last year.

BallxPit:
a woman in a school uniform is holding a chain and a rope .
Alt: Gogo Yubari, waving hi, menacingly.

Not gonna lie, maybe a third of the reason I still have a Series X is because I don't wanna ever lose the ability to play this game.

I lived in Rochester NY for seven years, which is long enough to be honorbound to carry the unholy gospel of garbage plates out into the world.

And every year we keep doing nothing about it, the mistake looks even dumber.
Maybe running every single website on the internet through one single company's infrastructure was a mistake?

I gave her her flowers when the cancer diagnosis happened, so right now, I'll just offer a heartfelt "fuck cancer".

Rest in power to an absolute legend.

Even as someone who hasn't been interested in these games beyond the bananapants narrative since its community crucified Infinite Warfare, this is a FIRE review that makes me pity its fans all the more.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is a soulless and soul-destroying game that thinks exceptionally little of its players and developers.

My one-star review for @restart.run:

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is an underwhelming, frustrating experience, even at its best.

Everything you need to know about how prestigious The Game Awards are is in the fact that because they needed five nominees in every category come hell or high water, the trash-ass Until Dawn movie is nominated for Best Adaptation.

Anyway, congrats to everyone nominated, I guess.
