I really hope that EU5 lets you be as wacky. I'm so worried about them trying to push too hard on enforcing "historical accuracy." I don't think they will, because Paradox is the kind of company that gave us gonzo-glitterhoof.

But I fear even still. I want EU5 to be a meme-dream.

A friend reminded me today that in EU4 you can form a HOLY Order Teutonic Horde, and I just can't get over the idea of this insane Reverse Steppe Invasion that leads to some kind of insane "Frankenfurter Dynasty" that briefly ruled China or something wacky for an Alt-Hist.
