I was part of the IGC, the Indie Game Collective. Our entire operation was to bring free, volunteer coverage to indie games by mass platforming them. But that many folks can't grind that long with no support, and it's not like the indie games could support us, that was why we existed!

1. The gaming press has been decimated by business suits, and the whims of an uncaring search engine behemoth
2. Doing the job means you get death threats and harassment

Tomorrow is World Mental Health Day. I've been working on a project to run a campaign all throughout Oct to raise funds in support for people to have access to these resources. One's mental health is crucial, especially right now. I'll be offering these once the campaign goes live tmrw/the 11th.

Basically, I discovered a guy who treated me horribly in my childhood and I blamed myself for years about it... that guy was an horrible person in general who does not deserve even a little bit of my respect.

And that the way he was with me was plainly wrong, period.

Finally... September 7th.

I used to associate it with Abe's Birthday, of course. But in 2019 it happened something crazy in my personal life.

That day, thanks to a friend I still talk to, I opened the eyes about a traumatic event that sadly I kept in secret for a good part of my life.

(And to think recently I still dared to name my Gothitelle in Pokémon Sword as "Daijirō" in reference to Katō and a Gothitelle I had in my save file of Pokémon Black2 in 2012 and which was part of my story team. But that's another story).

And I could try to draw him again. But, again, this is still painful and I think that unlike Formula 1 fanbase, my relationship with MotoGP fanbase is broken way beyond repair.

I am still traumatized of some shitty behavior of people in there who were even close people to me, to begin with.

But probably I will not upload them on here or my new portfolios. I don't feel very comfortable anymore personally with that time and also my style changed a lot.

That's why the few drawings I put of my 10s era are not motorsports related at all.

in my dA i have some fanarts of Abe. I admit I liked to draw him and his spiky hair of his later years. Also I used to find cool to take advantage of my drawing style to make him look cute as he was in the photos.

and regarding Abe, for worsen it all, my first pet cat, was named Norifumi (though I prefer to call him Nori-tan or Nori). The reasons are obvious. I adopted him on October 2013, but due feline diabetes, he had to be put to sleep in May 2018, and this still hurts.
