I still haven't forgotten that he voted for the Laken Riley act.
SEN. OSSOFF: “.. why are roving gangs of masked men — who look like they couldn’t pass the Army physical exam — dressed up like pretend Delta Force operators, on our streets, demanding papers, dragging people from their cars, and shooting people to death?”

playing a cool and collected ttrpg character is all fun and games until you have to make a split second decision you don't know how to handle and you don't have the room to roleplay uncertainty so now you're under DOUBLE pressure while everyone is waiting for you to advance the session

It’s just a weird thing to be stating as a fact. A child mined the cobalt on your phone and a teenager from Bangladesh made your shirt what are you talking about

While having the intellectual property debate something people kept asserting to me as if it were a fact is that “artists are the most exploited in capitalism” why do people think this and where does it come from. Do they know people pick trash 16 hours a day

that ai thread going around is stupid but also a lot of the arguments being made against it are stupid and this is exactly why most discourse around ai art tires me the fuck out

again: you can openly pursue a policy of ethnic cleansing and be received as engaging in "racially charged rhetoric" so long as you are not sufficiently rude about it. and yet the present administration cannot manage even this

in the elite circles of the US, racism is treated less as a matter of social stratification with direct implications for political stakes and more as a matter of moral etiquette. it is even more notable, then, that this administration can't constrain themselves to the meager associated standards

it's not just that Mamdani is charming af (he is), it's that he is normalizing the idea that children are full members of society that we all share a collective responsibility for
From @acyn.bsky.social (posted on X)

"Reporter: Do any of you have a favorite animal?

Child: My favorite one is a gold snake that can move. It has gold eyes, and it has a super-duper tail…

Reporter: Mr. Mamdani, the second question for you.

Mamdani: Yes. It’s also the golden snake."

If you were to actually take his white supremacy and racism seriously, you would evaluate their impacts on every single decision and policy advanced by the administration. And you would be on board for future reparations.

Most Heated Rivalry coverage has been focused on what young people, particularly younger straight women, think. I cover aging and decided to ask older gay men about their thoughts.

I found: A founder of what may have been the first gay hockey blog, a wedding cake shaped like a Zamboni and more.
Older gay men built their own hockey fandom. Then came 'Heated Rivalry.'
The hit show is an unexpected invitation for some older gay hockey fans to reflect on love, acceptance and coming out.

I may delete this because it’s a bit spicy but it shouldn’t be lost on us that games being turned into TV is essentially harvesting the stories written by those who don’t have union representation or healthcare with WGA by those that do. Our stories are good enough for TV but the writers aren’t?
