Relying on ChatGPT to teach you about a topic leaves you with shallower knowledge than Googling and reading about it, according to new research that compared what more than 10,000 people knew after using one method or the other.

Amazingly, the books I ordered far too late for Adventure X have been printed in time - so if you want a copy of the Heaven's Vault novels, we'll be selling them at our desk!

Not all of these copies though, as I can't carry this many.

Very pleased to hear that I've secured funding for some pilot audience studies in the spring - I'm going to be getting some people to play games and then talk to me about gender!

Great afternoon thinking about society and games (and the gamification of history) at the social justice and gaming workshop at KCL! Also most importantly finally got to play Molly House, explained by the wonderful @miasmacorp.bsky.social , which I've been hoping to play since seeing it at TIPC4!

It is increasingly difficult to decide in the precariat whether to say 'yes' to things. Exciting opportunities come up - but if I'm on my way out of academia, and so may not be in a position to finish them, is it really ideal to be signing up at all?

It's Eumenides week in Drama & Democracy, which means we could just talk about Ephialtes. But no, it's my course, so we're doing Barthes and mythologies! Sometimes feel like my module outlines should have a disclaimer: very likely to contain French theory. Just for those wanting to avoid it.
