I’ve been in pieces all day. Matt was a great friend, a shining light in the online writing community, and loved by many of us.
Matt was also a big advocate for Bluesky, particularly the Horror Writers Chat, which he Invested a lot of energy in until his diagnosis.
He will be dearly missed 💙

I'm very sad to share the news that our lovely @chaoticauthor.online has passed away. His ending was peaceful and surrounded with love but came far too quickly after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
I've known Matt for years. He was a warm, gentle, generous, all-weather friend. I miss him.

I’ve made a couple of big changes in the plot of my dystopian WIP that I think will make it better, but now half of what’s already written needs to be deleted or substantially changed, and I can’t figure out what to do next.
