This is the first Thanksgiving for Sophie & Colin Hortman without their parents, Minnesota state Rep. Melissa Hortman and Mark Hortman who were assassinated along with the family dog in an act of political murder. National guards troops were not deployed to the state in response.

"I know the member opposite likes to think himself as judge, jury and executioner, but we do have due process in this province," Smith said.
So that's why she invoked the Notwithstanding Clause to deny affected trans youth the ability to challenge her laws in court, right?
What a fucking hypocrite.

Good interview. @robbreakenridge.bsky.social does a nice job of introducing citizen initiatives & Corb an equally good job of explaining why we need clear legislation to prohibit coal mining activities in the eastern slopes.

So it's terrible for Canada to spend 54 million in ads targeting Trump's policies before an election, but it's perfectly fine for Trump to give 20 billion to Argentina before their election to ensure their MAGA-friendly president retained his power.

This guy really puts the ass in ambassador.

Okay, there needs to be a Grammy category for this. And this needs to be the winner.
What do you get when you mix the best selling single of the king of pop with the lately departed queen of MAGA?

This is what we get: a parody of Billie Jean about #mtg #maga #marjorietaylorgreene 🎶🕺
